PASS THE PAPER POWERPOINT

This PowerPoint presentation can be used at any level (A1, A2, B1...). The aim here is to break the ice the first the day in class.Students will have to pass the paper ball to any other classmate whereas the music is on. When the music stops, students will have to complete the sentences that appear in the presentation in order to know each other and present the subject.

LISTENING WORKSHEET FROM ESL SHORT STORIES


This is an activity is a listening worksheet from ESL short stories. There is a text with blank spaces to be filled by the students while they are listening the audio at the same time. There are also a set of questions to check reading comprehension and another question to speak in pairs. This activity is aimed at A2 students and the objective is to improve listening and speaking skills.

This is a video for an activity aimed at A2 students. The video shows the advantages and disadvantages of technology and it is useful to make students reflect. It is an introductory activity that leads to a debate between the students and a composition dealing with technology, social isolation, travels or outside activities.

BOOK WITH TAR HEEL READER

This is a book aimed at A1 students. The objective is to develop reading skills and understand the grammatical patterns of past simple and past continuous. Students will also  learn new vocabulary, expressions and connectors in order to narrate a story. In this sense, this book is a model for students, so that they will have to do their own.

AN IMAGE BASED SPEAKING ACTIVITY USING VoiceThread



This is an activity for the development of a creative learning. It is aimed at A1 students in order to make them reflect on the importance of healthy food. They will learn new vocabulary about food and healthy habits and it will be useful to do a debate.
